I won Judge's Choice for 2-D in Charlotte!

I am super excited that I won Judge’s Choice for 2-D at Festival in the Park in Charlotte, NC! Thank you to the judges and everyone that put the show together. Zach and I met and talked to a lot of wonderful people and a few originals found forever homes!

I have been hard at work finishing up a few new pieces in time for the Boardwalk Art Show here in Virginia Beach next weekend. The show starts next Friday October 20th. Zach and I will be out there 9am- 4 pm both Friday and Saturday, and Sunday from 10-4. I will be on 30th street real close to the statue of King Neptune.

Something new in the works:

I have been working on a beginner scratchboard kit and it is finally almost ready! In addition to all the tools you need to start with and a few Ampersand boards it will come with access to tutorials that you can follow along with if you want. There will be instruction on the basics of mark making in scratchboard, and which tools you should use for different textures as well as a portrait that you can follow along with from start to finish. Stay tuned for when this will be available in my shop!
